Things are heating up for the Blog Squad and their guest bloggers around the coaching community. Coaches everywhere are anticipating the largest ICF conference ever held, sold out with 1600 registrants. Appropriately so, as it will be the 10th Anniversary of the International Coach Federation conference.
The Blog Squad is in the news this week, as we prepare our bright pink buttons, t-shirts and tote bags for the ICF conference Nov. 9-12 in San Jose, CA. (Want some cool gear? Go here!)
Here's a press release about our Blog Squad Live blog that was set up specifically for the conference:
The Blog Squad Goes Live at Coach Conference.
And the Coaching Insider, the popular online news/journal for coaches everywhere, wrote that they too are blogging at the conference. Read what they say about the Blog Squad Live Blog and their own plans to blog the conference.
This indeed a milestone: real feedback in real time from real coaches at the conference. What will be said, what will be overheard, AND what will ICF board members respond? Or will they take time to come by booth #136 and participate in the dialogue?
I guess we should prepare an official invitation to official ICF people to come blog with us. We tried to get them to invite ICF members to come blog at our booth, but they turned us down. Something about giving us publicity they couldln't offer to every other "vendor" in the Exhibit Hall. I flashed my ICF membership card as I hate being called a "vendor", but to no avail. Alas, I shall personally invite the ones I know when I see them, perhaps they will bend to my charms, and come write a few words of encouragement to coaches everywhere?
Andrea J. Lee (http://www.multiplestreamsofcoachingincome.com/) wrote in a newsletter mailed Monday that Blog Squad guest bloggers will include herself and Barry Zweibel, C.J. Hayden, Catherine Bruns, Dee McCrorey, Nancy Marmolejo, Suzanne Falter-Barns and Sylva Leduc. Thanks, Andrea, for spreading the word.
