I depend on my computer every single day. Without it, I wouldn't have a business. That's why I offer you this reminder -- and I know you've heard it before -- Back Up Your Key Data Frequently.

A few years ago I was in an office supply store looking for a zip drive. The sales guy said to me, 'There are two types of people in this world...those who have lost data, and those who will.'

I've been lucky so far. Recently I installed a 120 GB hard drive as a back up drive on my computer. I've got my back up software (Windows XP includes this) scheduled to back up my entire C drive automatically every week. That way if my C drive ever crashes, I
haven't lost too much data, at the most, a week's worth. I back up my accounting data nearly every day.

Back up, back up, back up. Your business success depends on it.
